Smith implores her Democratic clients, before any interview, to “just be normal,” offering herself as the backroom translator between coastal elites and Middle America. “It’s radical that being reasonable is radical and being normal is abnormal.”

No. No, no, no, no, no. Normal is Hillary Clinton. Normal is Joe Biden. Normal is “when they go low, we go high.” All great things in their own right when things are normal. But things are anything but normal, and normal is what got us into this mess and it’s not what’s going to get us out.

I’m so sick of centrist democrats. They’re almost worse than far right MAGA conservatives. They’re holding us back. They’re preventing progress. They have yet to pick a side, and there is a side to be picked. Wake up, Dems! 🇺🇸 🥱😳
